FANUC CRX-10iA

The CRX-10iA is a six-axis collaborative robot with a 10 kg payload and a 1249 mm reach. It uses the R-30iB Plus controller and is programmed through a touchscreen teach pendant using drag-and-drop. Sensitive contact detection allows it to work alongside people in shared workspaces.

Study notes

  • Datasheet motion ranges: J1 380°, J2 360°, J3 570°, J4 380°, J5 360°, J6 450°.
  • Datasheet maximum speed is 1000 mm/s in Collaborative Mode and 2000 mm/s in High Speed Mode.
  • Repeatability is specified as based on ISO 9283.
  • Allowable wrist load per datasheet: J4 34.8 Nm / 1.28 kg·m², J5 26 Nm / 0.9 kg·m², J6 11 Nm / 0.3 kg·m².
  • Input power source is 100-120 VAC or 200-240 VAC.
  • IP67 applies to the body standard and wrist & J3 arm.
  • Product page lists mechanical weight as 39 kg; datasheet lists 40 kg.
  • A food-grade cobot model is offered.
  • FANUC's product page and datasheet give different values for weight. Check with FANUC before relying on it.

Safety

  • Sensitive contact detection allows the robot to work alongside people in shared workspaces.
  • Set motion speed according to the risk assessment of the system; during short distance the maximum speed may not be reached.
