Study notes

  • Motion range per axis: J1 360°, J2 360°, J3 540°, J4 380°, J5 360°, J6 450°.
  • Maximum speed is 1000 mm/s in Collaborative Mode and 2000 mm/s in High Speed Mode.
  • Allowable wrist load: J4 34.8 Nm / 1.28 kg·m², J5 26 Nm / 0.9 kg·m², J6 11 Nm / 0.3 kg·m².
  • Repeatability is stated based on ISO 9283.
  • Reach is measured at the end of the flange; payload is maximum load capacity at the wrist.
  • Input power source: 100-120 VAC or 200-240 VAC.
  • Controller series is R-30iB Plus; compatible controller is the R-30iB Mini Plus.
  • Programming is done through a teach pendant, with lead-through teaching and drag-and-drop programming.
  • Sources disagree: FANUC's product page lists a mechanical weight of 40 kg; its datasheet lists 47 kg. Check with FANUC before relying on this value.

Safety

  • Stated as the first and only cobot approved for painting under U.S. safety standards.
  • Stated as the first explosion-proof collaborative paint robot for use and sale globally.
  • Sensitive contact detection allows the robot to work alongside people.
  • During short distance moves the robot may not reach the stated maximum speed; motion speed must be set according to the risk assessment of the system.
