Study notes

  • Arm weight is 34 kg with a Ø190 mm mounting footprint; total cobot length is 1546 mm.
  • Typical power usage is 435 W.
  • Tool I/O: M8 8-pin connector with 4 configurable DI and 4 configurable DO, 1 AI and 1 AO; tool I/O power supply 0/12/24 V at 3 A/2 A/1 A; tool I/O communication over RS485 and Modbus RTU.
  • Standard AC controller: 24 DI and 24 DO (8 safety configurable DI/DO), 2 AI, 2 AO, 4 high-speed DI; 24 V/3 A internal and 6 A external I/O supply; 505 x 257 x 462 mm; 14 kg; 100-240 VAC 50-60 Hz; IP44.
  • Optional AC/DC OEM controller: 495 x 200 x 227 mm, 7 kg, IP40, 19-72 VDC or 100-240 VAC supply; the unboxing section lists the OEM controller as 495 x 200 x 170 mm and 7.1 kg.
  • Standard teach pendant ERP400: 12.1-inch capacitive full-touch screen, 1280 x 800 pixels, IP54, 1.7 kg, 5.5 m cable. Optional ERP400S addenable keys, jogging keys and function keys and weighs 1.8 kg.
  • Standard cable length is 5.5 m; optional lengths of 1.5 m, 3 m, 8 m and 10 m are available.
  • Controller and pendant temperature range is 0-50 °C at 5-95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
  • RS485 and Ethernet TCP/IP are listed as communication interfaces but have no matching protocol entry.
  • No controller from the Elite Robots CS Series appears in the reference list, so the supplied AC controller is described here rather than linked.

Safety

  • The optional ERP400S teach pendant adds a 3-mode enable key for enhanced safety compared with the standard ERP400 pendant.
  • The controller provides 8 safety-configurable digital inputs/outputs among its 24 DI and 24 DO.
  • Arm operating temperature range is -10 to 50 °C and relative humidity must stay below 90%, non-condensing.
  • Arm ingress protection is IP65 as standard, with IP68 available as an option for harsh environments.
