IEC 60870-5-101

IEC 60870-5-101 is an international standard defining a telecontrol companion standard for basic telecontrol tasks. It applies to telecontrol equipment and systems that use coded bit serial data transmission to monitor and control geographically widespread processes. The companion standard is built on the documents of the IEC 60870-5 series and is intended to enable interoperability among compatible telecontrol equipment.
