It defines a Data-Centric Publish-Subscribe (DCPS) model with application interfaces and communication semantics, including behavior and quality of service, for delivering information from producers to matching consumers. Version 1.4 is a formal specification published in March 2015.
The specification defines both APIs and communication semantics for a Data-Centric Publish-Subscribe (DCPS) model.
Normative machine-readable IDL documents listed are dds_dcps.idl (OMG file ID ptc/06-04-11) and dds_dlrl.idl (ptc/06-04-12).
Previous formal versions listed are 1.2 (December 2006), 1.1 (December 2005), and 1.0 (December 2004).
The source set also contains DDSI-RTPS 2.5, a separate DDS Interoperability Wire Protocol specification, which is not part of this DDS record.
