The Nachi MZ12W is a six-axis vertically articulated industrial robot built for wall, floor, tilted or inverted mounting, so it can be installed where floor space is limited. It carries a 12 kg wrist payload with a maximum reach of 1564 mm and repeats positions to within ±0.04 mm using AC servo motors on all six axes. Applications listed are machine tending, material handling, palletizing, dispensing, board transport, assembly and precision inspection.
Maximum moment of inertia: J4 3.0 kg·m², J5 3.0 kg·m², J6 2.6 kg·m².
Mounting conditions: floor, tilted or inverted; the additional information also lists angle, cleanroom, tabletop, wallmount and shelf mount.
Air tubes: φ6×2 and φ8×1; the clean-specification built-in solenoid valve uses φ6×1.
Application signal wires: 24 wires.
Clean class CLASS4, based on internal assessment in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
Noise level 73 dB, A-weighted, measured under JIS Z 8737-1 (ISO 11201) at maximum payload and maximum velocity.
Robot controller is the CFDs-3000; it is not in the reference controller list, so no controller id is recorded.
Safety
Robot arm protection class is IP67 equivalent (dust proof and moisture resistant); the wire-harness portion is IP65 equivalent and the CFDs-3000 controller is IP20 equivalent.
Liquids such as organic compounds, acids, alkalis, chlorine or gasoline-based cutting fluid that deteriorate the seal material must not be used.
Ambient temperature range is 0 to 45 °C; humidity 20 to 85 %RH with no dew or frost; vibration at the installation face not more than 0.56 (4.9 m/s).
Use is limited to altitudes of 1000 m or lower; ambient temperature is further restricted above that altitude.
To maintain cleanroom cleanliness, install the robot in a clean room with downflow and remove dust and wipe the robot before bringing it in, as it is not shipped in a dustproof package.
Maximum velocity values change with the operation program and wrist load condition.
