Nachi MZ12-01

The MZ12-01 is a six-axis articulated industrial robot from Nachi with a 12 kg payload and a 1454 mm maximum reach. It uses AC servo drives and has a point-to-point repeatability of ±0.04 mm. The arm is IP67 compliant and can be mounted on the floor, tilted, or inverted/ceiling for machine tending, material handling, palletizing and dispensing work.

Study notes

  • Working envelopes are listed in axis order without axis labels: ±170°, +90°/−180°, +210°/−147°, ±180°, ±140°, ±360°.
  • Maximum speeds are listed in the same unlabelled order: 260 °/s, 230 °/s, 260 °/s, 470 °/s, 470 °/s, 700 °/s.
  • Wrist allowable static loading torque values listed: 25 N·m, 25 N·m, 9.8 N·m.
  • Maximum allowable moment of inertia: 0.7 kg·m².
  • Drive system is AC servo.
  • Supported mounting: floor, tilted, invert/ceiling.
  • Applications listed: machine tending, material handling, palletizing, dispensing.
  • Internal air supply lines and signal cabling are routed through the arm; optional internal pneumatic valves remove the need for shoulder-mounted valve packages.
  • Footprint is stated as 17% smaller than conventional robots, with a slim base to reduce required floor space.
