The MZ03EL-02 is a six-axis articulated robot arm driven by AC servo motors, with a 1102 mm maximum reach and a 3.5 kg wrist payload. It is built with through-arm routing for hoses and cables, two φ6 air tubes and ten application signal wires. It can be floor, wall, tilted or inverted mounted and is rated IP67 equivalent for dust and drip protection.
Allowable moment of inertia: J4 0.12 kg·m², J5 0.12 kg·m², J6 0.03 kg·m².
Cleanliness ISO 14644-1 Class 4 equivalent.
Noise 70.2 dB, A-weighted, measured per JIS Z 8737-1 (ISO 11201) at max payload and max speed.
Available controllers named in the document are the Nachi Compact-FD (CFD) controller, based on the FD11, with miniTP or Smart Teach Pendant (SmartTP); a 120 V control package is also offered.
The detailed specification table lists wrist max payload as 3.5 kg, while the additional-information block lists payload as 3 kg.
Max speed values are available maximums and change with the work program and wrist load condition.
Listed applications: machine tending, material handling, palletizing, dispensing, assembly and vision.
Safety
Explosion-proof construction is not available.
Working envelope is limited for wall and tilted mounting; for example, axis 1 envelope is ±30° in the wall-mount case.
Permitted installation height is not higher than 1,000 m above sea level; above that, permitted temperature is affected by height.
Liquids that deteriorate the seal material, such as organic compounds, acids, alkalis, chlorine or gasoline cutting fluid, must not be used.
Ambient conditions: 0 to 45 °C, 20 to 85 %RH with no dew condensation, and vibration at the installation face not more than 0.5 G (4.9 m/s²).
To maintain the stated cleanliness, the robot must be used in a clean room with down-flow air; it is not dust-tight packaged and abrasive or fine particles must be removed before bringing it into the clean room.
