Makino MAG4

The Makino MAG4 is a 5-axis horizontal machining center with travels of 4,000 mm in X, 2,200 mm in Y and 800 mm in Z on a 3,500 x 2,000 mm pallet. It carries a 33,000 rpm, 130 kW spindle and a 120-position automatic tool changer, and handles workpieces up to 4,000 x 2,000 x 700 mm. The machine is intended for machining large aluminum structural parts and can be linked to Makino's MMC2 pallet transfer and storage system for unattended operation.
