Study notes

  • The machine performs grinding, milling, drilling and tapping in a single setup, removing out-of-cut time between operations.
  • Rotary axes: B-axis 270° (-90° to +180°), C-axis 360°; no A-axis is fitted.
  • Pallet size is 250 mm (9.8 in).
  • Cutting feedrate equals rapid traverse: 48,000 mm/min on X and Y, 43,000 mm/min on Z.
  • Maximum workpiece size is 535 Ø x 400 SR.
  • Maximum tool length is 360 mm in Cat holders and 420 mm in HSK holders; maximum tool diameter is 70 mm, or 220 mm with limitation; maximum tool weight is 12 kg.
  • Imperial equivalents given: 265 lbs payload, 1,890 ipm (X, Y) and 1,693 ipm (Z) rapid and cutting feed, 14.2 in Cat / 16.5 in HSK tool length.
