Makino EDGE2i

The EDGE2i is a sinker (die-sinking) electrical discharge machine with a stationary work table, a dielectric reservoir cast into the base, and a four-sided programmable rise-and-fall work tank. SuperSpark4 and IES adaptive power and jump control stabilise the EDM process and limit electrode wear, while SuperSurface and SuperEdge generators address surface finish and metallurgical quality. An integrated automatic tool changer beneath the X and Y axes supports unattended operation, and the machine runs on Makino's Hyper-i Control with a 24-inch HD touch screen.
