FANUC M-410iC/185

The FANUC M-410iC/185 is a four-axis industrial robot with a 185 kg maximum payload and a 3143 mm reach. It is used for palletizing, assembly, machining and parts transfer, and is controlled by the R-30iB Plus controller in an A- or B-Cabinet. The hollow wrist allows tooling cables to be routed through the arm, and repeatability is ±0.05 mm.

Study notes

  • The M-410 series is a four-axis palletizing robot line; the /185 model has a 185 kg payload and 3143 mm reach.
  • Motion ranges are 360° (J1), 144° (J2), 136° (J3), and 720° (J4).
  • Maximum axis speeds are 140°/s for J1–J3 and 305°/s for J4.
  • Mechanical weight is 1600 kg; the datasheet lists 1330 kg for the no-pedestal version.
  • Average power consumption is 3 kW.
  • Body and wrist protection are IP54.
  • Repeatability of ±0.05 mm is based on ISO 9283.
  • The hollow wrist allows a servo-driven gripper to be integrated; a 6-axis servo amplifier can control the servo hand as a 5th axis.
  • The robot is supported by FANUC ROBOGUIDE offline programming software.
  • An optional riser is sold separately.
  • FANUC's product page and datasheet give different values for weight. Check with FANUC before relying on it.
