DN Solutions PUMA TL2500L

The PUMA TL2500L is a horizontal turning center from DN Solutions' PUMA TL series, fitted with upper and lower turrets that can cut at the same time. It takes a 10-inch chuck and turns parts up to 1000 mm long, with X-axis travel of 250 mm and Z-axis travel of 1050 mm. Its spindle runs up to 4000 r/min with 26 kW and 433 N·m of torque, and a programmable tailstock supports longer shaft-type work.

Study notes

  • Max. turning diameter is listed as 370/240 mm (two values given in the table).
  • X-axis rapid traverse is 20 m/min; Z-axis rapid traverse is 24 m/min.
  • Max. spindle torque is 433 N·m at a max. spindle speed of 4000 r/min.
  • Machine dimensions: length 3900 mm, height 1930 mm, width 2144 mm.
  • Specification table lists 12 tool stations; series highlights state 20 stations total as 12+8 across the upper and lower turrets.
  • The series is described as supporting simultaneous 4-axis work using the upper and lower turrets, aimed at shaft work such as camshafts and crankshafts.
  • A programmable tailstock is used for stable machining of longer components.
  • The document notes that specifications are based on the global standard and may differ by region.
