Operations · `Hansei` · verification: source checked

Hansei is a continuous improvement practice of looking back and reflecting on how a process or personal shortcoming can be improved. In the Toyota Production System, hansei or reflection meetings are held at key milestones and at the end of a project to identify problems, develop countermeasures, and communicate improvements so mistakes are not repeated. It supports organizational learning together with kaizen and standardized work and is sometimes compared to the check step in plan-do-check-act.
