The EDNC10 is a sinker (die-sinking) EDM machine with a stationary worktable and a three-sided programmable rise-and-fall work tank. It has 1,000 mm x 600 mm x 500 mm X/Y/Z travels and a 1,300 mm x 950 mm table, and accepts workpieces weighing up to 3,000 kg. It is controlled by the Hyper-i control system and is available in standard and wide-tank configurations.

## Study notes

- Third machine in the EDNC-Series line-up.
- Standard tank version accepts parts up to 1,500 mm x 1,100 mm (59.1 in x 43.3 in); wide-tank version accepts parts up to 2,000 mm x 1,100 mm (78.7 in x 43.3 in).
- Work tank size is 1,500 x 1,100 x 500 mm (59.1 in x 43.3 in x 19.7 in).
- Three-sided programmable rise-and-fall work tank with stationary worktable design.
- Dielectric reservoir is integrated into the base casting of the machine for thermal stability and reduced floor space.
- Hyper-i control system with a large high-definition touch screen, on-board digital manuals and E-Tech Doctor functions.
- Uses HyperCut and SuperSpark IV machining technologies.
- Optional HS-Rib high-speed Z-axis allows jump motions up to 20 m/min with 1.5 G acceleration and uses ball screw core cooling.
- Optional automatic tool changer (ATC) is available with 8 or 16 positions.
- Maximum electrode weight is 100 kg (220 lbs).
- Maximum available amperage range is 60 A to 240 A.
