The EDAF3-FH is a Makino EDM machine that combines 4-axis CNC ram EDM with EDM hole drilling on a single machine, using dielectric oil for the drilling process. It has a 700 x 500 mm table with X/Y/Z travels of 450/350/350 mm and accepts workpieces up to 800 kg. Hole drilling uses a programmable W-axis arm carrying the die guide and middle guide, plus high-pressure flushing and a C-axis for indexing and continuous rotation.
