# DN Solutions SVM series

The DN Solutions SVM series is a line of vertical machining centers for milling workpieces. It uses a direct-coupled spindle with a maximum speed of 12,000 r/min and rapid traverse rates of 36 m/min on the X, Y and Z axes. ## Study notes

- Rapid traverse is 36 m/min (1417 ipm) on the X, Y and Z axes for both listed configurations.
- Spindle speed is 12,000 r/min and the tool taper is ISO #40.
- Spindle torque is listed as 95.5 N·m (70 ft-lb). Spindle power is listed as 18.5/5.5 kW (25 hp) in one column and as 7/24 TAPER kW in the other.
- Grease lubrication for axis roller guideways is supplied as standard.
