The NLX 3000 is a DMG MORI CNC lathe for turned-parts machining, offered in four machine lengths (Type 700, 1250, 2000 and 3000) that differ in maximum workpiece length and Z-axis stroke. Its turret uses a built-in motor (BMT) that drives a rotary tool spindle for milling and drilling operations on the same machine. Guideways on the X, Y and Z axes are slideways, and the machine can be fitted with a servo-driven or programmable tailstock depending on type.
