# Chiron DZ 12

Hardware · `DZ 12` · verification: source checked

The Chiron DZ 12 is a compact vertical machining centre from the 12 Series with two milling spindles set 250 mm apart on a travelling column, intended for high output per unit cost. Its X-Y-Z travel is 550 x 400 x 400 mm with rapid feed of 75 m/min on all three axes. Milling spindle speed spans 15,000 to 24,000 rpm and it takes HSK-A50 or HSK-A63 tooling from a chain magazine.
