The CX8010 is a Beckhoff control system in an embedded PC format with an EtherCAT slave interface. It runs TwinCAT 2 PLC programs written in IEC 61131-3 and is programmed over an additional Ethernet interface. Optional K-bus or E-bus terminals attach to the bus interface, and the unit recognises the connected I/O system automatically at start-up.
